Synopsis

The H. I. Denisenko Scientific and Technical Library of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (hereinafter referred to as the Library) is an integral and key component of the educational, scientific, and innovative environment of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (hereinafter referred to as the University), performing the function of a university-wide structural unit.

The KPI Library Strategy: 2026–2028 was developed in the context of the overall Development Strategy of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for 2025–2030 and is aimed at achieving the priorities set by the University and developing the University’s leadership ideas.

The creation of the Strategy was the result of comprehensive and collective work based on a thorough analysis of internal processes, as well as the active collection of suggestions and feedback from the university community, including directly from the Library team. Our librarians, as the main implementers and bearers of expertise, participated in strategic sessions and discussions where the main directions of development were formed, such as “Resources” , “Academic Sustainability” , and “Team”.

This document is aimed at adapting the Library’s activities to the conditions of radical social and institutional changes, ensuring its sustainable development and transformation into a modern and sustainable center of knowledge that effectively contributes to solving the University’s tasks at the national and international levels.
